Notas de Prova: Apresenta uma cor granada intensa no centro e um fino rebordo de tonalidade avermelhada, no nariz destaca-se a elegância e envolvência da fruta vermelha e negra com diversas notas especiadas e de barrica, formando um conjunto fino e muito harmonioso, onde são bem evidentes as notas apimentadas e minerais além de uma breve sensação de cacau, na boca é um vinho grandioso, muito nobre, com taninos marcados pela fineza e com um volume fantástico, no paladar sobressai a perfeita integração entre a fruta madura, as notas apimentadas e vegetais e também as notas de barrica, terminando com um final de boca longo e de persistência enorme.

In 1883, Don Melchor Concha y Toro planted the first vinifera vines at the foot of the majestic Andes Mountains. 100 years later, the visionary Eduardo Guilisasti-Tagle sought the creation of a Cabernet Sauvignon that would faithfully express its origin and the dream of our founder. In 1987 his vision became reality with the first vintage of Don Melchor from the century old vineyard, in Puente Alto, an truly exceptional terroir for growing the best Cabernet Sauvignon in the world. The 2019-2020 growing season was very dry and marked by high temperatures during the latter half of spring and summer, so the harvest began earlier than usual and was concentrated in March. The consistently cold nights during the ripening period helped conserve the intense fruit expression and elegance that the wines from Puente Alto are known for. The 2020 vintage of Don Melchor is composed of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 1% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot.
