Notas de Prova: Apresenta uma cor muito concentrada no centro, quase opaca e laivos de tonalidade avermelhada, o nariz revela elegantes aromas de cereja madura e ameixas, entre outras frutas negras, envolvidas com uma delicada sensação de chocolate e delicadas notas de especiarias e barrica, na boca é um vinho estruturado, encorpado e volumoso, conta com uns taninos muito elegantes e um paladar cheio de fruta preta, especiarias e notas de chocolate, o final de boca é longo e de enorme persistência.

Rótulo: Our tightly held VSV (or very special vineyard) wines are only mande in exceptional years when a single site delivers the ultimate harmony of varietal and region. Ebenezer, in the north west of the Barossa is home to the Schrapel family who are 6th generation guardians of a very special patch of exceptionally old vine Shiraz planted by their forebears in 1885. At over 300 metres above sea level, this 4 acre block is home to extremely low yielding, gnarled and twisted vines with their roots deep in the Ebenezer soils. This is are a rare Shiraz from the Schrapel family's 1885 vineyard. After picking, the wine was fermented on skins for 10 days to maximise colour and flavour and them aged for 12 months in French oak hogsheads. The result is a beautiful soft wine with great flavour concentration. Plums and dark berry fruits abound and there is a hint of liquorice and nutmeg leading on to a rich, opulent middle palate with a long, lingering finish. A wine that can be considered a classic Ebenezer Shiraz and a true testament to our growers and the friendships formed over many decades. Only 700 cases produced.
